wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>The Catholic Archdiocese of Osaka has been striving to realize a society in which everyone is valued as a human being, especially those in vulnerable situations, as &#8220;a church that lives in the hearts of those in the valley,&#8221; which is the basic principle of the Renewal Plan (started in 1995). Based on this diocesan policy, Sinapis, in cooperation with Caritas Japan and the Japan Catholic Council for Justice and Peace, has been making efforts in various activities to protect human rights, support the disabled, pastoral care for seafarers, and support for foreign migrants and refugees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The word &#8220;Sinapis&#8221; means &#8220;mustard seed. We can never do much, but we work in prayer, discerning what we can do now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the words of Mother Teresa, &#8220;What is important is that there is much to do. Mother Teresa said, &#8220;The important thing is not to accomplish a lot or to do everything. What is important is that you are always willing to do anything.
